THE BLESSED

  • MESSAGE:

Whosoever is blessed of the Lord is blessed. Nobody can condemn, curse or successfully rise against him. Whoever attempts does that at his own peril.

And, behold, Cushi came; and Cushi said, Tidings, my lord the king: for the Lord hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose up against thee.

– 2 Samuel 18:31

  • SAD:

Absalom teamed up against his father, David, yet his devices and actions resulted to his own ruin. It is dangerous to try to overthrow someone who has the hand of God upon his life. The Lord fiercely protects those that he has called by name and has sworn by himself that he will never leave nor forsake them, so it is not for you to try to bring them down.

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

-Psalm 105:15-17

GLORY:

The people killed Jesus to stop him from preaching true gospel to humanity, but what happened after his death till date? Jesus has been crowned as the SAVIOR saving the world, the one through whom humanity can attain eternity. He reigns and no power can challenge his authority. At his name, every knee bows and every tongue confesses that “Jesus is Lord.”

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

-Matthew 28:18

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:10-11
  • DEADLY:

The officials after learning about the resurrection of Jesus and how miraculous that was and how that could potentially lead even more people to believe in Jesus and the message he carries, bribed the guards to spread a false message that Jesus never resurrected but his body was rather stolen from the grave by his disciples. What is happening today? What is our evidence?

Jesus' resurrection has brough salvation, hope and restoration to all lost souls and to as many people who will hear the message of truth and open their hearts to him. In him we find peace, joy and love that knows no bounds. The resurrection that the officials intended to condemn has rather brought freedom and redemption from the shackles of sin and death and the gospel of Jesus Christ has been preached across nations and from generation to generations.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

– John 8:36

EVERYTHING GOD DOES IS GOOD

And God saw everything He made, and behold, it was very good (Genesis 1:31)

  • Everything God does is good.
  • The end product of God’s handiwork is perfection.
  • The end product of God is good.

I don’t think it was all glamorous when God initiated creation. Remember, it is written, “…and the earth was void and without form…” (Genesis 1:2). Meaning, creation started in it’s unpleasant state until God saw through His perfect eyes and made the uttermost declaration that “it was very good.” Therefore, if life doesn’t seem good for you now, remember that God is not done with you yet. He is still creating, molding and transforming you until He is pleased with His works in you, until He can boldly confess that “it is very good.” In this period, all you have to do is to wait patiently, remain faithful while trusting that, He is working all things together for your good.

LET’S PRAY: Thank you God for the beautiful things you have done in my life. I am grateful that you have given me a story that has touched someone’s heart and strengthened his/her faith in you. I pray that you touch others and complete your works in them so that they will also become a testimony of your finished works, and through it, many will come to know you. This, I pray with a grateful heart in Jesus’ name, Amen!

God bless you!

WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR? GOOD OR BAD?

Memory verse: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter sweet, and sweet for bitter.

What is going on in our world today? Right and wrong have been interchanged with the other. Evil lifestyle has been accepted as good whereas good lifestyle is considered evil by this present generation. Now, living upright especially, according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit (teachings of the Bible) is seen colloquial. The sins (fruit of the flesh) such as: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, witchcraft, hatred, envying, murders, drunkenness, heresies, strife, emulation, wrath…., (Galatian 5:19-21) are the very things majority of humans have embraced as right and are actively engaged in.

Humans nowadays overlook holiness and go in for their own lustful desires. Talk of homosexuality, prostitution, transgender, pornography, and many more, are all done in the name of human rights and freedom. It is very appalling and pathetic that man is not able to stand for God in this end time.

Elders are afraid of talking against evil because they feel it can hurt someone’s feeling. Preaching of holiness as against sin is no more appealing to the ears of men. Therefore, it has become difficult to rebuke wrongdoing. If they do, people would consequently leave the church.

  1. Would you rather follow the sinful world and lose your salvation? Or
  2. Would you stand for Good even when all are against it?

The Bible says “WOE” to those that do such. It’d be very severe for man to bear the “WOES”, because no man can stand the wrath of God.

Sweety, ask a friend today, that, My Dear, HOW DO YOU SEE EVIL?

May our caring God strengthen us so that we can stand against all odds in this evil dominated world, that He will give us the courage to stand for what is right~~in JESUS’ NAME!~~

GOD’S TRUSTED WATCHMAN

Memory Verse: Ezekiel 33:7. So, thou O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore, thou shalt hear the word of my mouth, and warn them from me.

The above is the word of God sent to Prophet Ezekiel. God set him as a watchman over Israel, to listen to the voice of God and to caution the inhabitants of Israel concerning every revelation or words the Lord passes through him. That was a heavenly assignment. Had Ezekiel relaxed and decided not to do what the Lord commanded him, the people would have fallen into multiple temptations. His ability to carry the word of God to the Israelites made them know the true intents of God for their lives; they knew whether their present lifestyle was pleasing to God or not; they knew what they needed to correct.
Brethren, Ezekiel is no more, therefore, God has set me and you over every believer and unbelievers; to send God’s message, let them know of God’s intent for them and how they can also become the children of God.
To our fellow Christians, God has given us the responsibility to correct each other whenever we see that they are swaying from the truth, or for some reason, might be falling from the grace. We are the watchmen of God and must see farther than others do. We ought to guard ourselves with the truth; not selfishly keep the truth of salvation; __rather, we must announce to the ends of the world that God’s heartbeat is that, everyone be saved.

A watchman stays awake to fight unforeseen battles. A watchman stays awake to ward off preys. A watchman stays awake to guard and protect. A watchman stays alert to ensure everything is alright.
God’s watchman should be ready to propagate the word of God, both to his fellow Christians and to the world.

God has called you as His watchman;__ so stand up to the call,_ live for Him alone,_ spread His word,_ caution and win the ungodly and bring the backsliders back to Christ__ For God shall count you as a faithful servant.

GOD’S HEARTBREAK

God hates the death of sinners. Do you know why? The bible says, if a soul repents, the Hosts of Angels jubilate in heaven (Luke 15:7, 10).

  • Then who can guess what happens when a soul is lost to sin?
  • Or, what happens when a soul dies in sin?

You can imagine. I guess it will be so heartbreaking.

To God, every soul is precious, so He intends to grant salvation to all willing souls without forcing it on them. Although salvation is free, God entreats the willing soul to initiate it. He sure loves to have all humans to attain that salvation, but humans often prioritize other things over their own salvation.

  • Why does God hate the death of sinners?
  • And what’s the indication that He hates the death of sinners?

God hates the death of sinners because, there’s no opportunity for repentance after death. The works of a man comes to an end the very moment he gives up his last breath. Since there is no second chances after death, we ought to live a holy life while we are still alive (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:11-15). It is only the living being that has second chances. Even that is still not guaranteed because we never know when we would breathe our last. Second chance is granted to the living because of the Grace of God that abounds for us through His son Jesus Christ. Therefore, when a man dies sinful, his soul has no place with God and his kingdom. It is not for us to judge what might become of that soul, but the bible emphasizes that such a soul would be doomed to destruction __ which is the exact thing that breaks the heart of God. Due to that, He said in his words to Ezekiel; “Yet if thou warn the wicked and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” (Ezekiel 3:19). Meaning, God has mandated every believer to warn his brethren who are erring from the truth to turn from their sinful ways so that God can equally save their souls unto eternal life.

Ezekiel 18:23, 32

have I any pleasure that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways and live?… for I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourself and live.

Oh man, is this not touching enough? That he who created you; he who gives and sustains your life; he who has the power to take your life from you, passionately entreats you to see a reason to choose life over dying in sin.

One Bible story that the above scripture brings to remembrance is the story of the woman who was caught in the act of adultery. The citizens were ready to stone her to death but when they sought counsel from Jesus, he didn’t condemn the woman. In those days, the condemnation was to cast stones at her till she died. That was the norm, but someway somehow, a simple question posed by Jesus put everyone off and that condemnation ceased on the spot. I think that condemnation never happened because Jesus (God) didn’t want the woman to die in her sin and lose her soul, because it was never in God’s plan to lose her to hell. That was a perfect second chance for her. Jesus pardoned her sins because His grace was sufficient. Grace abounds for our generation, therefore we ought to cease the opportunity to change from our sinful ways and persuade others to do same. Beloveds, I leave you with this quote, “say unto them, as I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turns from his ways and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die oh house of Israel?”

Oh, WHAT A COMPASSIONATE GOD!

Please tell a friend today, that God has opened his loving heart to us, you will break His heart if you die in sin. Ask him:

  • What will you do about it?
  • Which path will you take?
  • Will you change from your evil ways and live? Or will you condone sin and die and lose your soul to destruction?

AN ENEMY OF GOD…?

Memory Verse: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is enemy of God. James 4:4

After reading this scripture, you might be tempted to ask;

  1. Is God not the same person who created the world?
  2. If yes, then why is the Bible which was inspired by God, speaking against friendship of the world?
  3. Are the things in the world not God’s handiworks?

Indeed, out of Love, God created the world. For the comfort of men, He put everything at our disposal: to use and never to lack. But men always take undue advantage over God’s generosity and abuse His creation, __ go extra miles in engaging in indecent and unpleasing acts.

Man might also ask;__ if God created everything, then is He not the same person who put certain ideas in the minds of men?

Yes, God put wisdom in humans so that we can live better lives and be able to utilize His creation to our benefit. Yet, humanity, instead of being thankful and in return live holy life, turn against the Will of God. We turn our hearts to the love of our own lustful desires and the pleasures of this world (the very things that lead men to total damnation; those things which God frowns on). Sweetheart don’t be mistaken because if Satan was able to deceive and turn the hearts of the third part of The Heavenly Hosts of Angels against God, then it is untiringly easy for the pleasures of this world to sway you away from God.

My dear, chill all you can; have fun; enjoy the things God has created: but remember to STAY FOCUSED. Never allow the pleasures to sway you away and to take your Christianity away from you. I love you just as God loves you. Don’t be God’s enemy because you are valuing the world more than you would offer to God.

Please tell a friend, “BE A FRIEND OF GOD BUT NOT AN ENEMY.”

SALVATION AND THE DOUBTING CONSCIENCE

Most people, after hearing the salvation message, get a strong urge to surrender their all to God. In trying to do so, one thing, “THE THOUGHTS OF THEIR PAST SINS,” keeps them away. They say, “GOD I’M READY, USE ME,” but the enemy reminds them of their past sins. That “guilty conscience of past sins” becomes their accuser. It makes them feel that they are unworthy of God’s love, thinking that God wouldn’t forgive them.

Beloved, God is ever ready to embrace you into His Loving Bosom. He will never use your sins against you. Once you genuinely make up your mind to welcome Him into your life, He also genuinely marks you as His child. Truly, it was for that cause that He sent His only son, Jesus, to atone for our sins with His flawless blood.

MEMORY VERSE: Luke 5:32 “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus’ mission on earth was to come to the rescue of those who know and accept that they are sinners. Sweety, if that regretful conscience is weighing you down, PLEASE CLEAR IT OFF, LEAVE IT TO GOD, for you are the correct target for Jesus. He came purposely for you. Jesus didn’t come to accuse you of your sins, rather, He came to LOVE, to HEAL, to SAVE, and to tell you that, __IF YOU ARE WILLING, THEN YOU’LL BE HIS FOREVER.__ Oh, what a love! 😀 That’s why Jesus never accused the woman who was caught in the act of fornication. Instead, He said, “…NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE, GO AND SIN NO MORE.” (John 8:11)

Royals, Jesus condemn you not, He says; you’re the Apple of His Eyes. Surrender, for He will give you, “THE CLEAREST CONSCIENCE.”

My dear, please tell a friend today that, “YOU’RE THE APPLE OF JESUS’ EYE. COME TO HIM AND HE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL WORTHY OF HIS LOVE.”

Have a blissful day👋🏾

HAD I KNOWN

There’s no forgiveness after death.
“Had I known” will be the most stupid decision man will ever make after death, where he/she meets his/her creator, grace ceased, a decision made, and judgment set.

I speak with passion. I’m sorry but I’m not being sarcastic. I’m only being realistic!

While we still have life, and Grace still abounding for us, why don’t we repent, walk in the ways of the Lord, in order to attain the promised eternity, where there’ll be life, peace and joy that knows no bounds?

It’s not easy, but we “can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” Let’s commit to Him and He will perfect our righteousness in Him.

May God bless your gentle soul! 🙂

REPENTANCE

Thousands of years past, repentance messages have been preached from generation to generations. The account of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, and others attest to the fact that repentance has been preached for a long while.

Nevertheless, humans, from time immemorial have rejected the message and still do. However, there’s not much time to wait at present; neither is there much time to procrastinate. The word of God entreats us to have repentant hearts, so that we together with Jesus might reign in God’s kingdom when finally, everything comes to an end.

Memory verse: Matthew 3:2 …Repent ye, for the kingdom of God is at hand.

If we hearken unto His voice and repent, Jesus is ready to make His home with us. Every hour, minute, second, He knocks at the door of our hearts. (Rev. 3:20). All you need to do is to open up to Him.

See, you might have been postponing your repentance, but the truth is, God has had enough patience with us and there’ll soon be no time left for us to repent even when we wish to. That’s why we need to do it here and now.

Both, God’s grace and the world would come to an end. On that day, everyone would account for his or her own salvation. It will be unfortunate, if you are thinking of waiting till that day so that you can seek an undeserved opportunity to repent. My dear, it’ll be too late.

Royal, please tell a friend today that 👉🏿 “Time and tide waits for no man, “REPENT” and be “SAVED”👈🏿

Have a wonderful day. You are blessed.

HOW REFLECTIVE ARE YOU?

tss_pic

Jesus commands us to be

A light shining for us to see

Let your light shine all the time

That all may see the good works in you

And may come to know the Lord

The above is a song that I and my colleagues learnt from my teacher (Miss Dorithy Nyarkoh), who taught me social studies during my second year in the junior high school. Because I loved music and thus wanted to know how to sing a lot of different kinds of songs, I was so happy to get the opportunity to learn this song. Though I understood the song, my main focus was not on the morals it teaches. I sang it for fun: I sang it when I was in elated mood; I sang it to explore the dexterity of my voice. Later when I grew up, my interest shifted to the morals it teaches. Whenever I sing this song, it teaches, inspires and even implores me to scream it loud for every other person to get to hear what the song says to them.  This song reminds me of Matthew 5: 14, 16 (Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid…. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven).

When I ponder on both the song and the Bible verse, I begin to tell myself that, If I am the light of the world, then I need to reflect every corner for those in darkness to come to know how and where I tap my light from so that they can also tap into it and be redeemed from the bondage of darkness. Learning from the song as well as the scripture, a light is stronger than darkness. Therefore, unless the light is hidden, dim or quenched, darkness can never overcome it.

CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSON IN DARKNESS

Well, a person in darkness:

  1. is the one who does not know God,
  2. Neither has he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal savior.
  3. He could also be someone who knows that there exists a God but does not believe that Jesus is the savior:
  4. the one who lives his or her life without any reverence for God;
  5. The one who thinks that life is all about himself and that everything rest in his or her own abilities;
  6. The one who has not heard, or does not know, or does not understand, or does not want to understand that Christ Jesus saves and has the power to grant eternal life;
  7. The one who doubts the existence of God or says in his heart that there’s no God.

(There are many other befitting characteristics of a person in darkness).

On the other hand, if you are a light, that means you know and have accepted Jesus as your lord and personal savior. You then need to reflect the lifestyle of Jesus because Jesus himself is the light (John 9:5).  Just as we are joint heirs with Christ, if Jesus is the light (John 9:5) and He says “you are the light of the world” (Matthew 5: 14) (“you” referring to us), then we need to portray the same qualities He portrays __ a Christ-like lifestyle that attracts people’s attention. A lifestyle that speaks for itself and speaks well of us; the one that will pull people closer to us and consequently lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; a lifestyle that when we portray, would persuade others to want to know and to learn from us. These lifestyles, described as the “fruit of the spirit,” can be seen in Galatians 5:22,23 But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Our light needs to reflect in the way we talk, walk, dress, and in our general behviours with others. We need to be genuine in our ways so that people closer or those watching from afar would love to know the source of our decency and to love to be part of us.

You can tell a friend today that, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE my dear.
