THE CENTER OF LIFE

This is a controversial topic I have encountered in this spiritual life of writing. Well, I know it’s not I that write but the spirit of God who directs me to. While I ponder on what the Holy Spirit wants me to write about the center of a man’s life, I ask myself;
How am I going to start this discussion? _ and _ How will I end it?
· What’s the driving force of life?
· What entity is responsible for man’s survival
We are usually quick to say that money, ambitions/dreams, love and other things are the driving force of life. Thus man can succeed in the direction he takes depending on what drives him/her or where his/her interest lies. Yes, that’s a valid point being said which I won’t dispute. But the question is; how did man come into being and what drives man to desire what he desires? The answer is simple. Man never came into being by chance or by accident. Neither did man come into being through any evolutionary nor some magical means. Science can say whatever it thinks. Obviously, man came into being through the mighty works of the Supreme Being, God who is the Supreme Unadulterated Immortal Force responsible for man’s survival (Genesis 1:1…, ) and has freely given man or works in man the power to will and to do (Philippians 2:13). He is the center of life made manifest through His son Jesus’ Christ.
Sometimes, we tend to think that the lives we live is our own, thus we live for ourselves, forgetting that the breath of life granted unto us was actually given by God. Should He take our breath from us, let’s think about how we would be able to survive just the click of a second on the clock.
On the other hand, most of us consider life to be all about acquiring possessions. Well, we all love to possess valuable properties. It’s not bad at all, but when that becomes the central focus of life, it slowly pulls us from the love of God, and gradually draws us into the ditch of no return. The bible tells us in Matthew 16:26 “for what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Truthfully, material things (riches/wealth) don’t guarantee life. The only assurance of life is the believe in Jesus. Because He’s been made the center of life, our earthly survival plus our eternal salvation is granted through him.
God is the “life maker,” “the life giver,” and “the life sustainer” and has made Jesus ‘the way’ ‘the truth’ and ‘the life…’(John 14:6). You can’t know the way to salvation if you don’t know or haven’t accepted Jesus. Neither can you know the truth to a positively transforming life if you leave Him out, nor can you have life if you personally don’t have Him. The Apostle Paul said in Acts 17:28a “for in Him (God) we live, and move, and have our being…”
If there’s no God, then creation wouldn’t have happened in the first place. Meaning, there would be absolutely nothing in existence (no plants, no rivers, no earth, no animals, no man/woman). So the conclusion of the matter is; no God no life, no Jesus no life. Therefore, God created humans and gave us life, and to perfect life, sent Jesus to us so that we may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10b).
Evidently, God is life, shielding His children (His creation), and Jesus is life itself as well as the center of life perfecting and connecting God’s children to Him.
HOLY SPIRIT, WE PRAY THAT YOU HELP US UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH OF THE SCRIPTURE IN JESUS’ NAME… AMEN!!!!!!!!

HOLD ON FAST TO YOUR INTEGRITY

When your boss travels and entrusts his business in your care, he expects that you would take charge of his affairs with due diligence and greater integrity. He wouldn’t like to return to meet you only for you to tell him stories of failure on your side. Therefore, whatever might be the case, you would do your possible best to oversee things so that things do not go overboard. Especially, when you realise that his coming is due, because you wouldn’t like your boss to think of you as a failure and big disappointment to him, you would do everything possible to correct every errors created and to do things right before your boss steps foot at the workplace again.

Similarly, The hour of Jesus’ coming is due. No one knows when He’s arriving, therefore we ought to be alert (ready to receive Him). He does not have to meet us at the point of sin. The Bible admonishes us to hold on fast to the things we have. Those things are not our acquired properties, money, wives, fame, etc. Rather, the holy lives we’ve strived to live. That we continue in faith and in His service, never allowing anything nor anybody, nor temptation, tribulation, strife, fame, etc, to take us away from His love and worship, so that upon His arrival, we might receive the crown of victory topped with eternal life with Him. Let’s be conscious to the petty things which have the tendency to distract us from God. Hold on to your good life, holiness and your service to God.

WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO?

“Sɛ kwatserkwa se ɔbɛma wo tam a, tsie nidzin (If nakedness promises you cloth ask his name).” Why is he called nakedness? It’s simply because he never wears clothes because he has none. Why then do you accept his promise of clothing when he has never had one before? Why would you choose to live the worldly life satan prefers when his DAYS ARE NUMBERED (SHORT)? 🙂 🙂 🙂

But when Jesus promises you ETERNAL LIFE, why not gladly accept? In Him is LIFE and the LIFE is the light of the world. He’s the RESURRECTION and the LIFE. Why not believe Him when eternal life is granted in Him? He lived, died, resurrected, still lives and WILL LIVE FOREVER.

DON’T DELAY YOUR SALVATION

DON’T DELAY YOUR SALVATION

In the diaries of God, Its never too late to be saved in this waking life.
It’s only too late to be saved when one has passed on, salvation ceased, judgment set.
One good news is that even at the point of your death, there’s a chance to make amends. However, we cannot place our bet on whether we’ll have that opportunity to know when our last days would be. That’s something not even you yourself know. That’s why we can’t give chances.
So why then would you delay your salvation while grace abounds for you now?
Note that God doesn’t want the death of a sinner.
We never want that we die prematurely, but bear in mind that everyone stands 50% chance of losing his or her life at any point in time. Death is inevitable. However, it’d be adorable when it comes at a time we are sure of our salvation, and with that too, it’s not for us to know. We sure can’t tell. We never expected Komla Dumor to die too early losing his life to cardiovascular disease. In less than a week, we never expected that over 100 people could perish in fatal accidents. A number of examples could be cited, but keep in mind that the current trend is that, death is not only limited to the aged, but also, children and the youths.
That’s the very reason why you can’t delay your own salvation.
Salvation is now and then!
Your life, your soul is more valuable than anything else in this perishable life!

A CRUEL WORLD..? HOW INSENSITIVE HUMANS CAN BE.

The magnificent creator (God) never created a cruel world. Out of love, He created the universe and made everything beautiful and comfortable for man’s habitation. However, the actions and inactions of humans make the world cruel. That’s not to say that the world itself is cruel, rather, the crooked lifestyle of men is what can be termed cruel. People feel so unsecured to live in their own environment because it is hard to tell who to trust. No one knows if that same person who smiles at you and proclaims love for you everyday, would be the same person to harm, hurt, rob, or kill you in the near future. 19th July, 2016 news (Ghana) talked of a man who beat his wife to death on an issue as trivial as “why the ceiling fan was switched off.” An ailing wife turned off the ceiling fan which was earlier turned on by her husband who had left the bedroom. Upon his return, he asked why the wife turned off the fan and she indicated that she was feeling cold because she was ill (illness resulted from previous molestation by the husband). The husband upon hearing this got furious and beat the wife mercilessly. He hit her with anything at all he found in the room. After people came to her rescue and rushed her to the hospital, she was pronounced dead on arrival. Oh! What a cruel character. How can a man who once professed love to this woman, shared a bedroom and the same bed with her, and bore children together, manage to kill his wife over such issue as trivial as “why the ceiling fan was switched off.”

Also, on the same date, a stepmother out of rage killed her 3 year old stepdaughter because, on her return to the room, she found the young girl playing with electrical cable. She thought that was a dangerous act for a little girl to engage in, therefore, by reprimanding her, in a frenzy of rage, she beat the girl mercilessly. The girl was pronounced dead a few minutes after the nurses attended to her at the hospital. Why is the world filled with so many cruelties? We complain that the world itself is cruel while forgetting about our contributions to the uprising wickedness ongoing in this world.

What a world? The world itself is not the problem but the people inhabiting it. A little offense could make someone take matters into his own hands and afflict the other. The fear of God has diminished in greater parts of the world’s population giving way to pride and disregard for God and humanity. This incidentally is leading to all the mishappening, chaos and uncalled circumstances. In a place where there’s less regard for God, evil abounds. Humans ought to see one another as themselves and as people created in the image of God. The Bible says, …Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these (Mark 12:31). If we allow the fear of God to reign in our hearts, it will be very easy to love our neighbours as well.

Proverbs 1:7 says, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Sometimes, we feel we want to live carefree lives. A life without God, but we tend to forget that such a life is baseless and results in all the ill mannered behaviours we put up.

Let’s remember that the world is not cruel, because God didn’t create a cruel world. Rather, the fear of God and the love for one another would make the world a better, even perfect place to live. If we stop engaging in violence, and be forgiving, demonstrate love, kindness and acceptance towards one another, the world will be a better place for us all to abide in.

Please tell a friend today; FEAR GOD and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR to make the world less cruel.

GOD AND SEX

GOD AND SEX

What does the Bible say about sex?

We have friends, colleagues and acquaintances. We live with different people in the same community. We watch movies and see what different countries, communities or races uphold as good or wrong. The issue of sex is something that we need to talk about. A lot of people say all sorts of things when it comes to the discussion of sex. Today’s generation has embraced the very things God abhors. God’s initial and still working plan regarding sex was to make sex sacred only for married couples (Hebrews 13:4). But, what do we hear, see and watch these days? A lot of illicit sex acts circulating all around the world.

The sexual drive of the youth of today is so high that, men/boys are ready to sleep with anything in feminine clothing. Women are ready to sleep with men as long as they hear, “I love you” or “you look sexy/hot/gorgeous/good….” they also accept sex when they feel that their libido demands so.

The word, boyfriend/girlfriend is no more decent because, the moment it is said, the first thing that usually comes to people’s mind is sex (those two have been having sex). It is very scarce these days to find a pure opposite sex relationship because some of the males can’t wait to satisfy their sexual desires thereby seeking to conquer their ladies. Similarly, some ladies are ready to give in to the boys/men because they probably want to feel the hottest guy that can give them a good sex.

Usually when it comes to sex, people have less reverence or regard for God’s word. They would want to act before finding out what the Bible says. Afterwards, they would intentionally, consciously, knowingly and shamelessly seek for forgiveness.

Presently, parents and elders of society have come to accept sex before marriage. They judge that, as long as the couples are with just a partner, then it is safe. If it is safer in man’s eyes, is it equally seen as safe in God’s eyes? The Bible states that, “flee sexual immorality” (1 Corinthians 6:18).

God does not regard marital sex as sinful because it is a legitimate right for married couples. He made it holy to be enjoyed solely by them. On the other hand, sex is seen sinful when it is done before or outside marriage. (Hebrews 13:4). That is why premarital sex or extra marital sex are being termed as fornication or adultery (Exodus 20:14). The Bible states clearly that the sin which defiles the body is sex (1Corinthians 6:18) and that our bodies are the temples of God (1Corinthians 6:18), therefore we need to keep the temple (body) holy and clean at all times so that he can continuously commune with us. That habitat of the Holy Spirit always needs to be kept clean and holy in other to accommodate Him. It becomes unclean when we sin. Fornication is one of them.

Illicit sex has dominated our world of today. A greater percentage of people do not have any regard for chastity. But we Christians who have accepted Christ and his cross have to stand up to the call and practice “No Marriage No Sex.” People see this decision or confession as colloquial and would want to use every possible means to argue that, but man, I’d rather be labeled colloquial than to be seen as someone with swag, hot, sexy, and then go against the will of my Master God (the creator). We are not perfect. But if we make conscious effort to live right for God, he will also grant us the strength we require to stay away from sexual immorality. The bible says, God will judge whoremongers and adulterers.

Let’s ask ourselves a few questions;

  1. Which is best, God’s words or man’s expectations?
  2. If God says no, and men say yes, which one must we follow?
  3. Must we engage in premarital sex because that is what the whole world has accepted?
  4. As a good practicing Christian, do you feel good in your spirit after fornicating?

Let’s ponder on the above questions. Our loving and caring father of all has given us the power to will, in that respect, man in turn has no power to dictate for Him because he does not strictly dictates for us. He has laid before us what is right and wrong yet He never strangles us to obey. Whichever way, the choices man makes will definitely have their repercussions. Man ought to learn to stand for what is right (the will of God) even if the whole world is against it, to live for God but not what the canal flesh desires.

You can please ask a friend today:

  1. Before you do anything, do you consider what God says?
  2. Would you fornicate because a majority of people are doing same or is it probably that you do not have any reverence for God?

Please tell a friend today that, being conscious to God’s word would strengthen you and give you the spirit of self control.

GOD LOVES US

This is the post excerpt.

GOD LOVES US

Memory Verse: Romans 5:8 But God commands His Love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US.

Romans 3:23 says “for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”.

Note that, in sin we were born, walk and do everything on daily basis. Due to that, we neither deserve God’s favour nor His Glory.

The good news is that, even if our sins are dirtier than the rotten trash, GOD LOVES US. From the beginning of creation; when we were formed in the womb; at birth, when we knew no sin__GOD LOVED US__ Even when we know we are sinning, GOD STILL LOVES US. Jesus didn’t want us to lose our salvation, so HE DIED TO SAVE US. All we need to do is to acknowledge that fact and surrender our souls to Him so that He can save us forever.

Sweethearts, it’ll be bitter if we lose our salvation. Salvation is free, let’s accept Jesus into our hearts so that we can enjoy the Blessings of God.

Have a Good day my beloveds.

If you meet a friend today, tell him that, SWEETY, GOD LOVES YOU💞
